“Where to start! I had problems with my BMW for quite a while, I’d been to two other general garages to try and fix the problem. Burning time and money with no prevail, with a lot of added stress. I then bring it to the Car Clinique and straight away the knowledge was there. Safe to say the car was fixed up from the long term issue and more, the car hasn’t skipped a beat since! Rhys went above and beyond with the work he’d done. Fixing up past mistakes of shoddy workmanship done in the past. Really helped me out! Cares about his customers too. Would highly recommend! “Firstly, I tried using safari and opera browsers on my iPhone and couldn’t leave a review on my iPhone. So I’m sure this place should have far more reviews. I run a plumbing company, and the van broke down. I had a week full of customers depending on me for heating and water etc and couldn’t get a mechanic to help ASAP. After explaining the situation, Jonathan, pulled me out of the hole. I could have let a lot of families down, lost future business and got poor reviews, and this mechanic shop saved me. “Recently had my Passat timing belt and water pump etc job done. Great service and a pleasure to deal with Arron and Elizabeth only disappointment was no pretty ladies sunbathing outside as other reviews had mentioned. All I can say is if Carlsberg were to start VW specialist garages this would be the template. A small piece of County Down forever Danish. Thanks see you soon as I need another Passat done shortly.”

“What can I say, this makes for a wonderful walk along the boardwalk down to the beach and picking up the boardwalk further down to make a circular walk back to the car park at the Nature Reserve which is bussling with life. An evening walk is especially worth taking.”

“Beautiful coastal walk leading to a trek upriver, jumping between stones under the road bridge leading to the Bloody Bridge itself. Bring a change of socks and good footwear. On hot summer days, or if brave in the colder seasons, take a dip in the natural fresh water pool under the bridge. Blackberries galore end Summer to October. If the upriver trek is too adventurous then there is a well kept path to the bridge over the road.”

No problems getting parked and there was plenty of public toilets and places to eat or spend a few hours (or even days)”

“Lough Shannagh walk is beautiful. A long but steady incline up to the lough with views down towards Kilkeel Cranfield and County Louth. Bring a lunch and eat it at the lough and you won't be disappointed.”
